Maverick Spirit lasts a lifetime! 🤘

It’s Homecoming week at Colorado Mesa University! Take some time to support your Mavericks and enjoy the campus spirit by attending this week's festivities, including the Homecoming Parade, Carnival and football game. ✨

This week, the Colorado Mesa University Alumni Association is hosting The Spirit Contest, a chance to dress up and decorate for the Make Your Mark theme. Post your CMU inspired take on 80s and 90s grunge for the chance to be featured in the Spring Maverick Magazine. Visit the CMU Alumni page to learn more.

Here is some Maverick Spirit on display on the balcony of a residence hall in 1993-1994.

Proud to be a Maverick!🤘

The Grand Junction Opportunity Scholarship aims to raise the post secondary education attainment rate of Mesa County High School graduates.

This year, Mackenna Schena was awarded the scholarship, providing her with the resources to pursue a degree in Business Management: “This scholarship helps me focus more on my studies, instead of worrying about loans. I am very proud to be a Maverick.”✨
