"we don't get clients like that", "our clients won't do anything like that", "we live in a small town, people aren't adventurous"

I've heard this a lot and I 💯 disagree with all of those statements. Clients are open to so much. Once trust and vibe are established the world is pretty much your oyster. I've lived all around the country and have worked in small towns.

This isn't a pop at hairdressers but generally I find the people that use statements like this either aren't confident, lack technical education or aren't moving with the times, and or clients personality/style. Hair is infinite and with infinite possibilities comes infinite creativity.

You're only as limited as you are by your stylist. Education and confidence is key!

We talk about "charging our worth" but if you're not investing in yourself and your education. How much are you really worth?

After careful consideration I've decided to move back to America at the end of the year.

The UK has always been a special place to me and for my career. I'd like to say a massive thank you to everyone who's supported me and influenced me on my journey... And to all of the wonderful people I've met along the way...

But it's time for me to return home.
