FBLA Fundraising - AMCM 04/04/2016

Hey, Facebook family and friends. If you are traveling or taking road trips this summer, you should consider purchasing an emergency roadside service. Our FBLA chapter along with AMCM (Association Motor Club) have partnered to give you a great plan at an even greater discount.

To support the great things our students are doing, AMCM is offering a plan that gives you protection on the road for only 25.00 per year for an individual and 35.00 for a family of four. A similar plan with AAA will cost 75.00 per person and an additional 37.00 for each added person.

In addition, there are member discounts for hotels, skiing, and car services.

One really nice feature is that you can download their app to your Smart Phone. The app includes a gas locator, weather conditions, links to member discounts, and best of all, if you break down, it connects you to the service and they can track you through GPS. It applies to the individual and not the car, so you can use it even if you are traveling with a friend. If you don't have a Smart Phone, you can call just as you would with any other plan.

To learn more about the plan, discount, and directions on purchasing, go to www.amcmfbla.com. You can also use your Smart Phone and call 844-311-3252. O

Our chapter code is F40032.

Please share this. It is a great value for you and will help our kids be able to afford to compete at the national conference this summer.

FBLA Fundraising - AMCM

I found an idea for a fundraiser. It is the Little Red Wagon Mobile Yard Sale. You start out with a little red wagon and a roll of pennies. You go to the first house and explain that you are raising money for FBLA by having a mobile yard sale. Ask if they have anything they will sell you for 1 penny. This is your first item. You go to the next house and explain that you are raising money with a mobile yard sale. Ask them if they would either sell you something for a penny or buy something from your wagon for a dollar. (Do not let them trade items. That defeats the purpose.) You can start out with some donations from your own house to get things started. How much you make depends on how many houses you can visit. This would be good for a Saturday or Sunday activity.
