Recovered from a series back in 2018, I learn a little bit about one of the most recognizable buildings in downtown Grand Junction, Colorado. Curator of Museums of Western Colorado, David Bailey gives me a brief background on this beautiful building first erected in 1908. Hard to stomach now, in 2024, the entire build cost for this beautiful multi story building was a mere $4,400 back then. At the time of filming in 2018, this building was assessed at $300,000 and is worth even more now.

There is nothing like taking dominion over an already beautiful house to bring it from glory to even more glory. Big shout out to Mr. Sandless of Grand Junction on this one.
