Under advisement of CDEC’s Rules Advisory Council (RAC), Dr. Lisa Roy has announced the rules surrounding rates for the Colorado Universal Preschool Program. Every child in Colorado will have access to a minimum of half-day preschool (15 hours/week) in the year before they are eligible to enter kindergarten subject to provider participation and capacity. Students with qualifying factors are eligible for an additional 15 hours of “stacked on” hours, getting students to full-day services.
