A man became belligerent after a Utah gas station clerk refused to sell him alcohol because he had no ID. A customer tried to de-escalate the situation, and the man eventually left.
He soon returned armed with a shotgun. The customer who had tried to calm him down drew his concealed handgun and opened fire. A second armed citizen also fired at the man, who was fatally wounded.
No employees or bystanders were injured.
