Never forget Officer Tou Thao.

He spent nearly five years in prison for simply holding back the angry crowd while George Floyd overdosed on fentanyl.

Floyd had a lethal level of fentanyl in his system at the time of death. Tou Thao never laid a hand on him.

Yet he was still convicted and sent to prison for years in one of the most politicized cases in modern American history.

This was never about justice. It was about sending a message and sacrificing officers to appease the mob.
