Community Helpers in Action: A Visit from Central Library

Our kindergarten students are learning about community helpers in social studies! Mr. Kelan from Central Library visited the classroom today to explain how public libraries support their communities.

Students discovered that libraries offer much more than books. They can borrow games, movies, audiobooks, museum passes, and even robots! They also learned about story times, puppet shows, computers, gardening opportunities, and after-school snacks.

Thank you, Mr. Kelan, for showing our students how the library serves everyone in our community!

Support our High School Soccer team while enjoying a refreshing after-school treat. Students will be selling Otter Pops in the horseshoe, after care, staff kids and parking lot starting at 3:00 on the following Wednesdays: August 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th.

Otter Pops will be available for 2 for $1, making it an easy and fun way to support the team. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly toward supporting the high school soccer program.

We invite students and families to stop by, cool down, and show their support. Thank you for helping our athletes continue to grow, compete, and represent Caprock Academy with excellence.

Grilling Up a Stronger School Community!

Our 7–12 students kicked off the school year with a Cohesion Event focused on building connections, strengthening our school community, and starting the year together. Even Mr. Goodbar joined the fun, firing up the grill and serving hot dogs to our students!

Events like these give students and staff an opportunity to connect outside the classroom and help foster the strong sense of community that makes Caprock Academy special.

Caprock Academy is seeking local businesses and community partners to sponsor our inaugural Eagle Fun Run & Color Run on September 24, 2026.

This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your organization’s commitment to local students while receiving recognition through event T-shirts, school communications, social media, event signage, and more—depending on your sponsorship level.

Sponsorship opportunities range from Community Sponsor contributions up to our exclusive Presenting Sponsor level. Funds raised will support student programs, teachers, family events, and campus improvements through the Caprock Academy PTO and Annual Fund.
