Protect our kids by having NO SHOPS in GJ! Know the facts.

Youth past month ma*****na use increased 20 percent in the two-year average
(2013/2014) since Colorado legalized recreational ma*****na compared to the
two-year average prior to legalization (2011/2012).
o Nationally youth past month ma*****na use declined 4 percent during the
same timeframe.
• The latest 2013/2014 results show Colorado youth ranked #1 in the nation for past
month ma*****na use, up from #4 in 2011/2012 and #14 in 2005/2006.
• Colorado youth past month ma*****na use for 2013/2014 was 74 percent higher
than the national average compared to 39 percent higher in 2011/2012.
• The top ten states for the highest rate of current ma*****na use were all medical
ma*****na states whereas the bottom ten were all non-medical-ma*****na states.
• In school year 2015/2016, 62 percent of all drug expulsions and suspensions were
for ma*****na violations.

2. The perceived “benefits” from sales tax DO NOT outweigh the risks

3. GJ City budget is $213MM, Parks & Rec Budget is $10MM, a TINY revenue increase of 1.3%
