When our little learners feel overwhelmed, angry, or frustrated, Tucker teaches us to:
Stop what we're doing
Tuck inside our turtle shell and take deep breaths
Think of a peaceful solution
Teaching our preschoolers how to recognize and manage big feelings gives them tools for a lifetime. 💛

Our preschool scholars had their first introduction to Tucker Turtle last week. Tucker helps us learn how to stop, tuck in our shell, take 3 deep breaths, and think of a solution to our problem. We will be learning about Tucker throughout the school year.

To our wonderful preschool families: thank you for trusting us with your precious little ones! The first week of school brings big feelings for everyone, but our brave students did an incredible job adjusting to their new routines. They’ve spent the week building comfort, exploring learning centers, and forming sweet new connections with peers and teachers alike.
