Can’t wait to see what you wear for “Read Across America Week”

REMINDER:
As temperatures keep dropping to bundle up your kids for school with coats, hats, gloves, scarves, earmuffs and/or layers of clothing are recommended.

School gets out at 3:30pm on M/T/TH/F & 2:00pm on W. Have a ride for your child to be picked up as soon as possible. Due to COVID, the children remain outside after dismissal till picked up!

Due to inclement weather, Grand Island Public Schools will not be in session on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021. Virtual school as well as all activities, including athletics, will also be canceled.

💙🎉 Our Kindergarten friends making the news today!!

Fun abounds at recess time as Grand Island Public Schools opens playgrounds West Lawn Elementary kindergartners stood patiently outside the perimeter of the school’s playground Tuesday as Principal Mikhail Happ discussed the rules for playing on it.

🎉💙🎉 Huge thank you to all our past PTO coordinators who helped make our new playground a reality- Nicki, Amy, Brenda, Tiffany, Lori, Brissa, Denise and Nicole.

Grand Island Public Schools playgrounds open Tuesday When Grand Island Public Schools students head out for recess this week, they’ll be able to have fun on the playgrounds.
