Second graders put their knowledge to the test in CKLA today with an exciting, interactive quiz game. There was so much energy and laughter in the room as the kids showed their knowledge of fairy tales and tall tales!

Today we hosted our very first winners circle! We recognized our 5th graders who have been racing ahead and leading by example by following our Stolley Park rules: Be respectful, responsible, safe and kind.

Only six days into the school year, and our 5th graders are already mastering true collaboration!

Today in Mrs. Phinney’s class, students paired up for partner reading. Sitting "knee-to-knee, elbow-to-elbow," they took turns reading pages aloud, helped each other decode tricky words, and teamed up to answer deep comprehension questions and write about their reading.

It’s amazing to see them supporting one another and building strong learning partnerships so early in the year! 🖤🐾

Our first graders had a blast diving into our new math curriculum today!
Using cubes, our young mathematicians colored squares to answer the question, "What can we tell from a graph?"
We love learning through hands-on fun!

It’s Day 3 of Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week, and we’ve saved some of the most "choice" looks for last. From a wedding headpiece to the "how much hairspray is too much?" bangs, this final round of vintage photos is totally tubular.

Our Stolley Park staff has been through it all, dial-up internet, floppy disks, and Tamagotchis, and they’re still the heart of our community today!
