Due to impending weather, all campuses, including Grand Island Adult Education, will be closing at 5:00 pm. There will be NO CLASSES tonight, Thursday, February 19th.

Adult Education provides instruction to students who are 16 years or older and officially withdrawn from school. We teach ABE, GED, ESL and Citizenship.
Central Community College provides AE classes and GED testing under the supervision of the Nebraska Department of Education. Adult Education is supported at the local, state and national levels. The program has these major components:
Adult Basic Education for people with less than eighth-grade skills. English As a Second Language (ESL) for people who want to learn to speak, read and write English
