GICC Shooting Team

Due to the weather practice is cancelled for today. Remember pictures Sunday at Heartland Public Shooting Park, please arrive by 4 p.m.

We will have a team meeting Sunday January 29th @ 4 p.m. at the GICC Library, please plan on attending if you can. Registration forms were distributed with the email announcing the meeting, completed forms are due by February 1st. Please let me know if you did not receive them or have questions!

Congratulations Kaitlyn Lilly on your first 50/50 in trap!! Kaitlyn shot 2 rounds of 25 straight in 16 yard trap at today's USAYESS shoot. Excellent shooting and focus, we are all extremely proud of you. Great job! Look at that smile!

USAYESS October Shoot!

Monthly Nebraska Fall YESS shoot information below, trap, s***t and sporting clays! Please review and let me know your interest level by Wednesday September 14th to determine if we will register as squads or individually. Please share with anyone who may be interested.

Several GICC shooters participated in the Platte River Charity Shoot for Goodwill today-shooting for scholarships. Shooters included Aiden Bonnahoom, Brandon Heusel, Leighton Webb and Kaitlyn Lilly, (please let me know if I missed anyone). I am proud to announce Kaitlyn Lilly won a $1000 scholarship winning A class. Congratulations Kaitlyn-Nice Shooting!!

The Fall Youth/Adult Sporting Clays dates are set! Below is the flyer with dates and information. GICC Shooting Team will once again partner with the GISH Trap Team in this program. These events raise dollars for our program which help keep costs as low as possible so please consider participating if you are available. Please let me know if there are any questions and share this with anyone who might be interested.

I am extremely proud of these shooter's! They attended a three day s***t clinic hosted by Lincoln Trap and S***t. Chief national s***t instructor Ralph Aaron along with several NSSA Level One instructors conducted the clinic. Not only did they brave the heat; they all made significant improvements in their games! Congratulations to Lauren Webb on her 25 straight!

We want to thank Harrison Webb, Leighton Webb and Shelby Stratman for coming to HPSP for the TV Interview yesterday!! Look for the footage to be aired during the Olympics this summer! Thanks to Ed Littler and the TV station!

Six team members participated in the USAYESS Regional Shoot Saturday and Sunday in Lincoln. The shooting matched the weather......HOT! Congratulations to the GICC Shooting Team members Jordan Schneider, Lauren Webb, Harrison Webb, Brandon Heusel, Kaitlyn Lilly and Leighton Webb for a third place finish in the High Over All team standings!!
