Part 2: CCC-Hastings. 💚🖤🤍

The students did A LOT of walking. They were surprised to see how beautiful the campus was and everything offered in both Campuses!

Calling all volunteers!!

July 8-11 Heartland United Way is scooping up ice cream at the American Hereford Junior National Show!!

Why should you volunteer at our Scoops Ice Cream Parlor? This one of a kind volunteer opportunity is rewarding in so many ways! Not only will you have fun in the parlor, you'll connect with members of the community too! During your shift, you'll be earning a "wage" that will then be donated to a Heartland United Way Partner of your choosing!! These dollars make a lasting impact, helping our partners continue to provide amazing programs and servives for our community!

Our 19 Partner Agencies you can scoop and raise funds for include: Adult Education, American Red Cross, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boy Scouts, Boys Town, The Central Nebraska Council On Alcoholism & Addictions, First Light Child Advocacy Center, Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska, Heartland CASA, Hope Harbor, Inc., Legal Aid, Literacy Council, Lutheran Family Services, Multicultural Coalition, Midland Area Agency on Aging, Grand Island TeamMates, Third City Community Clinic, Willow Rising, Inc., & Grand Island YMCA.

RISING SENIORS!! Have you ever wondered what its like to tour CCC-Hastings and what kind of friendly faces you will find at CCC-GI?! Wonder No More. On July 17th we will be taking a small group of students to both campuses. This is your opportunity to learn what both campuses have to offer at such close proximity. For more details email [email protected]. If you have access to your school email you should’ve received an email from Mayra Ramallo with ALL the details about the trip!

Last week was our second Summer College Visit at UNO!! The students were able to learn about the different opportunities offered at UNO, toured Dodge Campus AND ate Lunch at Scott Cafe! Thank you so much for the great experience. Our students were very pleased with their visit! 🖤❤️
