The night has fallen on our last night here at Summer Ignite and it was a blast of a day! This afternoon, we had a lot of fun in the water despite the cold, we learned about how Jesus paid for all of our sins and that we no longer have to bear the weight or the guilt of it, and we ended our night with a camp fire devotion, worship, and campfire s'mores! We have one more morning full of excitement and learning. See you all tomorrow!

Day 3 of Summer Ignite has had a great start to the day, although it did take some campers a little bit longer this morning to fully wake up after a full day of activities yesterday. But that's the fun of camp!

This morning, we learned about how we can hear from God and how He wants to be our best friend. We learned that the best way to do that is that we need to spend intentional time with Him. Then the Third City crew got to participate in a prayer walk activity and decorate our own prayer journals.

Parents of campers, a fun thing to challenge your campers with is to find ways throughout the days and weeks after camp, and even after they are done with their prayer journals, is to find ways to spend intentional time with God.

We are now on to the rest of the day with swimming and another large group time with great teaching and worship!

Night has fallen on the second night of Summer Ignite and we had a very full day! This afternoon, we swam a lot, had some great snacks and a good supper time before we had our large group time. Tonight, we learned answered the question "What's the big deal about the Bible?" We learned that God's words are true, how the Bible is structured between the Old and New Testaments, and how the Bible helps us live a life that is honoring to God. After our great large group session, our campers had a scavenger hunt to try and find some people that hid throughout the camp, there were some very creative hiding spots! We ask that you pray for energy as we have another day full of activities and large group times, for our campers to continue to be engaged, and for friendships to continue to grow.

This morning, we asked the question if our God is really three in one and how that can be. After a great large group and small group time, the kids had a blast on the biplane, building crate towers, and climbing walls. We are currently having some down time/quiet time after filling our stomachs with lunch, but we have an afternoon and evening full of activities and another large group session with great worship and teaching! Please be praying that all of the campers are able to continue to have energy throughout the day. Thanks all!

The night has set on our first night of Summer Ignite and what a lot of fun we had! We started our day at the pool with a big welcome party, learned about how we can know that God is true by what He created, and then had a fun late night activity with various activities from trying to find little Jesus figures throughout the camp, to finding Bible verses in our Bibles, to playing charades, and more! We ask that you all be praying for our kids, to have energy not just for the activities but to have the energy to be engaged in large group and small group times, for our leaders to have energy and wisdom, and for us all to grow a little closer in our relationship with God. "See" you all tomorrow!

Yesterday, we wrapped up our Summer JAM camp learning about why the Bible is such a big deal. We learned how the Bible helps us be disciples of Jesus, knowing that it can help correct us, help us learn what is right, and how to grow closer to Him. It was a quick camp, but that just means it was a lot of fun!

We start our Ignite camp this afternoon! Parents, we ask that you pray for the kids, to help them grow a little closer in their relationship with God. For the leaders, to help them have energy throughout the week and wisdom as they lead the kids through the camp. And for safety of travels and while we are the at the camp. Thanks all!
