Just a gentle reminder today š¤
If your child is struggling with speech, language, literacy, or behavior⦠I want you to hear this:
You are doing the best you can with what you know in this moment.
Parenting is one of the hardest jobs we will ever do. And as both a therapist and a momāI get it.
The uncertainty.
The guilt.
The questions.
The āShould I have noticed sooner?ā
The āDid I miss something?ā
The āWill they catch up?ā
I see you.
And I want you to know something important:
Concern does not mean failure. Seeking support does not mean you did something wrong.
In factāasking questions, trusting your intuition, and reaching out early is one of the most powerful things you can do for your child.
Research continues to show us that early intervention creates opportunityānot because something is āwrong,ā but because developing brains respond beautifully to support.
There is no perfect parent.
There is only the next right step.
So if something in your gut has been whispering, āI wonder if my child needs supportā¦ā trust yourself enough to ask.
It is truly an honor to walk alongside families through every referral, every evaluation, and every therapy session.
You do not have to figure it out alone š¤

I read something today that really made me pause.
āThe habits your child builds in childhood follow them into adulthood.ā
And honestly⦠it made me reflect on everything.
As a mom.
As a therapist.
As someone deeply passionate about helping children build strong foundations.
Because behavior matters.
Habits matter.
And underneath every behavior is communication.
Our children are in one of the most critical periods of their lives ā developing language, cognitive skills, emotional regulation, confidence, social connection, attention, and the ability to navigate the world around them.
So I often ask myself:
What opportunities am I providing my own children?
What opportunities am I providing the children and families I work with every day?
Are we creating environments that strengthen them?
Support them?
Challenge them?
Help them grow into capable, confident humans?
The beautiful thing is this: small moments matter.
The games.
The conversations.
The movement.
The reading.
The connection.
The consistency.
It all builds the brain. š§ āØ
Today is a good day to make an impact.
Today is a good day to plant seeds that will grow for decades.
And thatās a really beautiful thing.

What I wish more people knew ā
Dyslexia is language-based.
Sometimes we need to look beyond the surface of reading struggles and support the foundational skills underneath literacy development.
Which means when a child struggles with reading, spelling, decoding, or comprehensionā¦
itās often NOT because they arenāt trying hard enough.
It means there is underdevelopment in:
⢠language processing
⢠phonological awareness
⢠auditory processing
⢠comprehension
⢠movement + reflex integration
⢠confidence and connection
Thatās exactly why I love what I do!
Because LANGUAGE is my jam!!
Summer is one of the BEST times to strengthen these skills before the next school year begins.
šThere are still a few spots in Juneās Summer Reading Camps.
If your child struggled with reading this school year, early support can make a HUGE difference.

Your child is not ājust behind.ā
And summer is SO important to maintain skills and close gaps.
But often times for struggling readers, summer does one of two things:
Allows a child to fall further behindā¦
OR
FINALLY get the support their brain needs to close gaps.
I believe taking a different approach to literacy, language, and learning far outweighs the typical ājust read moreā approach.
I donāt believe struggling readers need:
ā more pressure
ā more worksheets
ā more frustration
I believe they need:
ā stronger foundations
ā confidence
ā connection
ā movement-based learning
ā support that addresses the WHOLE child
Thatās why Iāve developed summer programs using evidence based approaches that are specifically designed to strengthen the brainās entire system.
And most importantly?
It makes learning FUN again!!
If your child struggles with reading, language, attention, confidence, or learningā¦
NOW is the time to intervene before the next school year begins.

Your child doesnāt hate reading.
They hate feeling frustrated.
They hate feeling behind.
They hate feeling unsuccessful.
And honestly?
Most struggling readers have spent years associating reading with stress, correction, and
failure.
So when parents say:
āThey just donāt like readingā¦ā
I often see something much deeper.
Because children naturally WANT to learn.
But when the brain is working overtime to process language, sounds, visual information, attention, or comprehensionā¦
Reading becomes exhausting.
Thatās why my approach looks different.
I donāt just focus on reading harder.
I focus on building the foundation underneath reading:
- language
- processing
- attention
- confidence
- connection
And most importantlyā¦
I make learning feel SAFE and successful again.
Summer is one of the BEST times to strengthen these foundational skills before the next school
year begins.
LIMITED Spots remain open for Literacy Camps and Individual sessionsā¼ļø
