Just a gentle reminder today šŸ¤

If your child is struggling with speech, language, literacy, or behavior… I want you to hear this:

You are doing the best you can with what you know in this moment.

Parenting is one of the hardest jobs we will ever do. And as both a therapist and a mom—I get it.

The uncertainty.
The guilt.
The questions.
The ā€œShould I have noticed sooner?ā€
The ā€œDid I miss something?ā€
The ā€œWill they catch up?ā€

I see you.

And I want you to know something important:

Concern does not mean failure. Seeking support does not mean you did something wrong.

In fact—asking questions, trusting your intuition, and reaching out early is one of the most powerful things you can do for your child.

Research continues to show us that early intervention creates opportunity—not because something is ā€œwrong,ā€ but because developing brains respond beautifully to support.

There is no perfect parent.
There is only the next right step.

So if something in your gut has been whispering, ā€œI wonder if my child needs supportā€¦ā€ trust yourself enough to ask.

It is truly an honor to walk alongside families through every referral, every evaluation, and every therapy session.

You do not have to figure it out alone šŸ¤

I read something today that really made me pause.

ā€œThe habits your child builds in childhood follow them into adulthood.ā€

And honestly… it made me reflect on everything.

As a mom.
As a therapist.
As someone deeply passionate about helping children build strong foundations.

Because behavior matters.

Habits matter.

And underneath every behavior is communication.

Our children are in one of the most critical periods of their lives — developing language, cognitive skills, emotional regulation, confidence, social connection, attention, and the ability to navigate the world around them.

So I often ask myself:

What opportunities am I providing my own children?

What opportunities am I providing the children and families I work with every day?

Are we creating environments that strengthen them?
Support them?

Challenge them?

Help them grow into capable, confident humans?

The beautiful thing is this: small moments matter.

The games.
The conversations.
The movement.
The reading.
The connection.
The consistency.

It all builds the brain. 🧠✨

Today is a good day to make an impact.

Today is a good day to plant seeds that will grow for decades.

And that’s a really beautiful thing.

It’s a good day!!

Summer is in full swing, and I’m gearing up for all the amazing kids coming through the doors this summer.

I would say it’s work… but honestly? It’s mostly play. 🤫🤸

BUT here’s the secret: PLAY is one of the most powerful ways kids learn. 🧠✨

Every activity inside our Literacy Camp is intentionally designed to strengthen the brain-body connections needed for:
šŸ“š reading
āœļø writing
šŸ—£ļø language
šŸ‘€ attention
šŸ’” confidence

This isn’t your typical sit-down summer program.
We move. We connect. We laugh. We build skills through meaningful, engaging experiences that actually stick.

Individual sessions are already in full swing, and Literacy Camps begins MONDAY!!! šŸŽ‰

If your child struggles with reading, spelling, confidence, attention, or language-based learning… trust me when I say you do NOT want to miss this opportunity.

We’re just over here building better brains. šŸ˜‰šŸ§

A few spots are still available — message me for details before we fill up!ā€

What I wish more people knew –

Dyslexia is language-based.

Sometimes we need to look beyond the surface of reading struggles and support the foundational skills underneath literacy development.

Which means when a child struggles with reading, spelling, decoding, or comprehension…

it’s often NOT because they aren’t trying hard enough.

It means there is underdevelopment in:
• language processing
• phonological awareness
• auditory processing
• comprehension
• movement + reflex integration
• confidence and connection

That’s exactly why I love what I do!

Because LANGUAGE is my jam!!

Summer is one of the BEST times to strengthen these skills before the next school year begins.

šŸ‘‰There are still a few spots in June’s Summer Reading Camps.

If your child struggled with reading this school year, early support can make a HUGE difference.

ā€œExceeding expectationsā€ doesn’t happen by accident.

It happens when kids receive the right support, in the right environment, with strategies that build confidence from the inside out.

Nothing is more rewarding than watching a child go from struggling… to thriving.

And summer is one of the BEST times to make that progress happen.

It’s officially summer and Literacy Camps are Coming!!! These camps are designed to help children:
āœ”ļø Strengthen reading and language skills
āœ”ļø Build confidence and independence
āœ”ļø Maintain progress over summer break
āœ”ļø Close learning gaps before the new school year
āœ”ļø Learn through engaging, brain-body based activities

Whether your child needs support with reading, speech, language, or social communication, these programs are intentionally created to help kids grow academically and emotionally.

Spots are limited and several camps are already filling quickly.

If you’ve been wondering whether your child could benefit from extra support this summer — this is your sign to start now.

šŸ“© Message me for details or to reserve your child’s spot.

Today - Is MY Day!!

But honestly? It’s never about me; it’s about YOU!!

Because my patients, my students - THEY are the ones that bring so much laughter, happiness, and joy to my days.

I feel like I hit the absolute jackpot with this profession.

It’s been 16 years… and I still love every second of what I do.

Speech therapy is so much more than learning to say words.

It’s:
- helping a child find their voice
- building confidence
- creating connection
- strengthening literacy and language
- supporting the inner narrator that guides someone through life

It’s seeing the PERSON… Not the PROBLEM.

It’s BELIEVING in the child before they believe in themselves.
It’s celebrating the first sound, the first sentence, the first successful reading moment, the first spark of confidence.

And while this month celebrates my profession…

The real gift has always been the incredible patients, students, children, and families I’ve had the privilege to work with.

Thank you for trusting me with your children, their stories, and their growth.

This work will always mean more than a ā€œjobā€ to me šŸ¤

Your child is not ā€œjust behind.ā€

And summer is SO important to maintain skills and close gaps.

But often times for struggling readers, summer does one of two things:

Allows a child to fall further behind…
OR
FINALLY get the support their brain needs to close gaps.
I believe taking a different approach to literacy, language, and learning far outweighs the typical ā€œjust read moreā€ approach.

I don’t believe struggling readers need:
āŒ more pressure
āŒ more worksheets
āŒ more frustration

I believe they need:
āœ” stronger foundations
āœ” confidence
āœ” connection
āœ” movement-based learning
āœ” support that addresses the WHOLE child

That’s why I’ve developed summer programs using evidence based approaches that are specifically designed to strengthen the brain’s entire system.

And most importantly?

It makes learning FUN again!!

If your child struggles with reading, language, attention, confidence, or learning…

NOW is the time to intervene before the next school year begins.

Summer should feel FUN for kids.

But for many struggling readers, summer can also become a time where important language and literacy skills begin to slide backwards.

That’s why I created opportunities with YOUR CHILD in mind..

This is NOT your typical ā€œsit down and do worksheetsā€ reading intervention.

I truly believe children learn best through:
✨ movement
✨ connection
✨ play
✨ confidence-building
✨ whole-brain learning

Because the last thing a struggling reader needs…
is more frustration around reading.

Each camp is designed to strengthen the foundational skills underneath literacy while making learning feel engaging, successful, and FUN. Better yet - I always use EVIDENCE- BASED intervention because science doesn’t lie.

Throughout the summer, each camp will target:
– language development
– reading foundations
– comprehension
– auditory + visual processing
– attention + regulation

All while helping children build confidence going into the next school year.

And the best part?

The kids WANT to come back!! (I PROMISE!! ā˜ŗļø)

Spots are LIMITED and continue to fill.

If your child struggled this school year…
SUMMER is one of the BEST times to intervene before next year begins.

Your child doesn’t hate reading.

They hate feeling frustrated.
They hate feeling behind.
They hate feeling unsuccessful.

And honestly?

Most struggling readers have spent years associating reading with stress, correction, and
failure.

So when parents say:
ā€œThey just don’t like readingā€¦ā€

I often see something much deeper.

Because children naturally WANT to learn.

But when the brain is working overtime to process language, sounds, visual information, attention, or comprehension…

Reading becomes exhausting.

That’s why my approach looks different.

I don’t just focus on reading harder.

I focus on building the foundation underneath reading:
- language
- processing
- attention
- confidence
- connection

And most importantly…

I make learning feel SAFE and successful again.

Summer is one of the BEST times to strengthen these foundational skills before the next school
year begins.

LIMITED Spots remain open for Literacy Camps and Individual sessionsā€¼ļø
