Here is an update on the water main break at Central Community College-Hastings that was discovered Friday morning on Community Street between the Phelps and Dawson Buildings. Water has been restored to the campus and normal operations are resuming. CCC-Hastings administration thanks the City of Hastings and campus facilities for the quick response.

🏈 Welcome to Raider Nation, Coach Humphries. 🏴‍☠️

Justin Humphries has been appointed as the inaugural head coach of the Raiders women’s flag football team. He comes to CCC after serving as the tight ends coach and offensive assistant at NCAA Division II Southern Nazarene University.

Before joining the college ranks, Humphries served as an assistant athletic director and head football coach in Texas, helping lead programs at St. Anthony Catholic High School and McDade Independent School District to playoff appearances.

A Bastrop, Texas, native, Humphries earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the University of the Incarnate Word.

CCC is excited to have Coach Humphries lead the way as Raiders women’s flag football begins its first chapter. 🏈

Big news for Central Community College students and alumni. 🎓

CCC and Yavapai College in Arizona have signed a new articulation agreement creating four seamless pathways into Yavapai College’s online, reduced-credit bachelor’s degree programs:

➡️ Associate of Arts → B.A.S. in Business
➡️ Associate of Applied Science → B.A.S. in Business
➡️ Associate of Arts or Associate of Science → B.A.S. in Public Safety Administration: Administration of Justice
➡️ Associate of Applied Science → B.A.S. in Public Safety Administration: Paramedicine

These clearly defined pathways are designed to protect transfer credits, reduce the time needed to earn a bachelor’s degree and give students greater confidence in planning their education.

Best of all, CCC graduates can pursue an affordable, nationally accredited bachelor’s degree while continuing to live in Nebraska without additional fees and costs.

More pathways. Fewer barriers. Greater opportunities for Nebraska students.
