Congratulations to both the boys and girls teams for their showing at the State Finals. Both teams made the top 8, advancing to match play. The boys team qualified 4th and the girls 8th but lost in their first matches. It was the highest finish in school history for the girls team. A great finish to the season and something to build on for next year!

In Individuals, a huge congratulations to Ben Prokopec who finished second overall and earned First Team All-State. This marks the best finish in Individual State Finals in school history.

For the Lady Bucs, Jenna McKinzie finished 24th and Alayna Thompson 26th. Great bowling ladies!

We had three Bucs qualify for the Division 1 State Finals in singles at today’s Regionals. Ben Prokopec finished second in the boys division. Alayna Thompson, 5th, and Jenna McKinzie, 7th, in the girls division. Congratulations and best of luck next Saturday at State!! Go Bucs!

The boys and girls teams each finished second at the Regional Tournament today and advance to the State Finals next week! Congratulations!!

The boys bowling team won the Reeths Puffer Rocket Invitational yesterday! They qualified 4th out of a field of 22 teams, which included 4 teams who are ranked in the top 10 in state, in their respective divisions.
Then they absolutely came alive in the bracket match play (2 game baker totals) First they knocked off 5th seed Forest Hills Eastern 422-311, then 1st seed Northview 420-400, and in the Finals, took down Zeeland 437-277. They averaged 213/game in bakers! All five players (Alex Gannon, Ian Garland, Xzavier Tennant, Ethan Prokopec and Ben Prokopec) stepped up in bakers for a true team win!!

The Bucs were led by Alex Gannon who finished 5th in singles and made all-tournament team and Ben Prokopec who missed all-tournament team by 9 pins.

The Lady Bucs qualified third but lost in the semifinals. They were led by Alayna Thompson who shot a 255 game, and was 4th individually. She earned all-tournament team honors along with Lauren Prokopec who finished in 10th.

The Bucs are back on the lanes this week with a home match against Caledonia Monday and away against East Kentwood on Wednesday.
