Project 88

Project 88 announces its partnership with UND Piano Fest for Kids Day, happening on November 9th at the Hughes Fine Arts Center! The UND Piano Studio students will lead the event, offering younger students a chance to engage with piano in a social context. Register your students now!

Dr. Nariaki Sugiura, Associate Professor of Piano, is the recipient of the 2021 North Dakota Music Teachers Association Service to the Profession Award!

He was nominated by both the Greater Grand Forks Music Teachers Association and the Upper Valley Music Teachers Association. The nominations emphasized his involvement through presenting programs to their local associations, coordinating masterclasses for students of all ages, organizing local competitions, giving performances, arranging for the 2015 and 2019 NDMTA conferences to be held at UND, and the work he does with the music program at UND.

Thank you for all that you do, and congratulations on this tremendous honor, Dr. Sugiura!

Project 88 member, Matt Lorenz just did another concerto performance with Bemidji Symphony Orchestra last weekend. Congratulation!!

It was a successful concert at the Grand Cities Mall! Thank you to all the students who performed, you all did a wonderful job!

Thank you to everyone who came to the Ember last night to support Project 88 and Altru! And a huge thank you to all our performers:) The concert was fun and the Ember provided the musicians with a great environment to share their music in. We will be back!
