Due to end-of-semester scheduling and finals prep, our final Comm Club meeting on May 8 (Study-a-thon) has been canceled.

We know this was part of the semester schedule we previously shared, so we wanted to update everyone as soon as possible. Thank you for understanding, and for such a great semester of meetings and events 💚

We had the pleasure of hearing from Abby, owner of Abigail’s Book & Gift Shop, who shared her journey from studying communication at UND to becoming a small business owner. She talked about her career path, how she fell in love with books, and how her background in communication helped her build her brand from the ground up.

From designing her logo and defining her mission and values to choosing specific fonts and colors for her brand identity, Abby showed us how a COMM degree can translate directly into real-world entrepreneurship.
