What a wonderful morning at our Irish Music Mini Camp! 🍀🎻

Students explored the history of Irish music, learned about jigs, reels, hornpipes, slides, and polkas, and spent the morning playing together as an ensemble. We had violinists, cellists, guitarists, and pianists working side by side, building confidence and preparing for Sunday’s Backyard Concert.

There was lots of music, laughter, teamwork, and even a snack break in between rehearsals!

A huge thank you to all of the students for their enthusiasm and hard work. We can’t wait to share these tunes with everyone at the concert this Sunday evening 7pm

Our Irish Music Mini Camp is this Friday, June 5, and we have just a few spots left.

Students will learn traditional Irish tunes, play music together in a fun group setting, and prepare for our Backyard Concert performance on Sunday evening.

This is a great way to keep students engaged with music over the summer while building confidence, ensemble skills, and friendships through music.

🎶 NVYO Senior spotlight : celebrating violinist Lilliana Paintner, graduating from her East Grand Forks Homeschool TODAY!! 🎶 🎻 🎓

Lilliana has spent a total of 5 years in the NVYO Philharmonic and Symphony violin sections, participated in Dal Segno camp and has even done some volunteering :)🎉
🎓 Next steps: University of Mary in Bismarck, to study music education
