Some people leave a legacy not only through what they achieve, but through the opportunities they create for others. 💚

Konnie Middleton was a proud UND alumna whose generosity, vision and unwavering commitment to future generations will continue to impact students for years to come. This fall, she will be recognized as a 2026 Sioux Award recipient for Distinguished Leadership & Achievement, an honor so incredibly deserved and reflective of the lasting difference she made through her life, leadership and service.

Alongside Tom, Konnie's support of UND has created opportunities that will shape futures for generations. We remember her with deep gratitude and admiration, and we are thinking of her family, friends and all whose lives were touched by her kindness. Her legacy will live on at UND for years to come. 💚🖤

The UND community is remembering alumna and longtime supporter Konnie (Peach) Middleton, '75, whose generosity and commitment to UND will continue to benefit generations of students. 💚

Konnie and her husband, Tom Middleton, '72, have made a lasting impact on UND through their support of entrepreneurship education.

Their $5 million gift established the 𝐌𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 & 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 within UND Nistler College of Business & Public Administration.

Earlier this summer, the UND Alumni Association & Foundation honored Konnie and Tom among its 2026 Alumni Honors recipients, sharing the story of their North Dakota roots, their time at UND and their commitment to creating opportunities for future generations.

Faith loves the culture at the UND Alumni Association & Foundation and enjoys connecting with alumni to hear their unique UND stories. A UND graduate and former Student Body President, she is passionate about the impact UND has on students, alumni, and the future of the university.

A few fun facts about Faith:
📚 She has a goal of reading 26 books in 2026
🎿 She learned to downhill ski last winter
🏃 She hopes to run a marathon someday
🧩 She loves puzzles and is learning how to knit
✋ And she's left-handed!

From his roots on a family farm to his leadership at Fredrikson & Byron, John has built a career focused on helping people navigate important decisions and plan for the future. As co-chair of the firm's Trusts & Estates Department, he works closely with families and business owners to create lasting legacies.

A dedicated community leader, husband to Megan ('97), and father to Emmy and Freddie, John embodies the values of service, stewardship, and connection. We're proud to have him serving on the UNDAAF Board of Directors.🙌🏼
