While present events have riveted our attention. It’s never to soon to think about your courses for Fall 2020. (The great task that is education must continue!) So please consider this new course offering.
POLS 393 Problems in Political Science: Contemporary Politics
POLS 393-01 (14513)
MWF 2 p.m.
The fall of 2020 promises to be filled with intense political, economic and social debate. The 2020 election has already been declared “the most important in decades.” The pandemic crisis will surely affect all aspects of society in America and the world. Such times demand serious and focused study.
Students in the course will examine, in depth, contemporary political issues. They will analyze, discuss and debate current political, economic, social and cultural problems. The course is designed to give students a place to apply and develop their analytical, oral presentation and writing skills. You will hone the tools needed to assert yourselves as citizens.
Professor Jendrysik invites students who are interested to share their ideas with him about how best to organize this course. (Don’t worry he has plenty of ideas of his own.)

Her parents were not doctors or lawyers; they were janitors as Nguyen grew up in Eden Prairie, Minn. They spoke nearly exclusively Vietnamese and made as much money as they could.
