Congratulations to Paige Arsenault and Roxanne Gasperetti on being awarded the Joe K. Neel Memorial Scholarship for their research with aquatic invertebrates at our recent Biology Department Awards Ceremony.

At our recent awards ceremony, Brody Salander, Roxanne Gasperetti, and Aubrey Rogers were awarded Ester Wadsworth Hall Wheeler Graduate Research Awards. Congratulations!

Congratulations to our outstanding graduate student award winners. Lawson Frey was awarded the Outstanding M.S. student recognition and Trevor Long and Cailey Isaacson were co-winners for the Outstanding PhD student award.

Congratulations to Elena Sorge, the 2nd recipient of the Brian Darby Memorial Scholarship. This award is given to a biology student with interdisciplinary academic interests in undergraduate research and a
history of participation in 4H or similar organization.

Congratulations to Althea Panales on being awarded the 1st Barbara and Harley Earwicker award honoring Dr. Diane Darland's parents, Barbara and Harley. This award is for an outstanding undergraduate student conducting research in the areas of cell, molecular, or integrative biology.

Congratulations to Paige Bonnet who was awarded the Edith Larson Outstanding Biology Major this year!

Congratulations to PhD student Roxanne Gasperetti on being awarded a prestigious National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship for her work studying waterfowl parasites and diseases. Kudos to her mentor, Dr. Vasyl Tkach, for his guidance and support on this amazing award.

Congratulations to Grace Evink, Katie Wilhelmi, Greta Wharam, Ethan Halstead, and Daniel Highfield for receiving Lillian Elsingna leadership awards at the recent Student Leadership award ceremony.
