Dakota Venture Group was established through a donation from the Dakota Foundation meant to provide students the opportunity to complete due diligence reports, make final investment decisions, and negotiate deal terms. By participating in the Dakota Venture Group, University of North Dakota students receive an unheard of opportunity for experiential learning in the field of venture capital and angel investing.

Dakota Venture Group is excited to announce our Fall semester’s new members, Logan, Ava, Karley, Maureen, Gavin, and Jack!💡💚
To get to know them, we asked them a few questions:
What are you looking forward to in DVG?
What is your favorite hobby or if you could travel anywhere, where would it be?
Logan: Sophomore, studying Entrepreneurship, Logan is looking forward to partaking in experiential learning in the venture capital realm, to further develop his skills. He would love to travel to a cluster of European countries to capture the scenery!
Ava: Freshman, studying Business and Finance, Ava is looking forward to meeting new people and connecting within the community. Her favorite hobby is traveling!
Karley: Freshman, studying Business Management and Entrepreneurship, Karley is looking forward to learning more about venture capital and getting hands on experiences. She would travel to Bora Bora!
Maureen: Junior, studying Aviation Management and Commercial Aviation, Maureen is looking forward to gaining more insight and knowledge into venture capital and marketing strategy. Her favorite hobby is skiing while growing up in Colorado!
Gavin: Junior, studying Computer Science and Math, Gavin is looking forward to the experiential learning with a potential to lead and make an impact for DVG. He would travel to Tanzania to climb Mount Kilimanjaro!
Jack: Junior, studying Data Science and Math, Jack is looking forward to learning about how we can help drive innovation from group members. His favorite hobby is watching movies!
