The 2026-2024 National Scholarship opens this Sunday, June 14th!
There are 3️⃣ scholarship opportunity deadlines this school year for you to turn in an application.
Interested? Keep scrolling for a few criteria to know before you apply:
Applicants must:
🔹Be a United States citizen
🔹Be at least 17-years-old
🔹Have a high school diploma or equivalent (upcoming seniors, this still means you
qualify as you’re on track to graduate)
🔹Have an unweighted high school GPA above 2.50
🔹Take the SAT or ACT prior to applying
🔹Meet height and weight
🔹Take a physical fitness assessment
Here are some important dates to mark on the 📅calendar:
🔹June 14, 2026: Army ROTC National Scholarship opens for 2026-2027 applications
🔹October 12, 2026: First scholarship opportunity deadline
🔹January 18, 2027: Second scholarship opportunity deadline
🔹March 4, 2027: Final day to create an online application for the 2026-2027 school year
🔹March 8, 2027: Third and final scholarship opportunity deadline

Congratulations to Cadet Gavin Finck for graduating from the Basic Airborne Course! This course-built leadership, physical stamina, and the confidence to jump out of perfectly good airplanes. We couldn’t be prouder of your accomplishments and what you have achieved. Second to None, Fly as One!!

Our next senior spotlight is Cadet Jonathan Myers!
Cadet Myers is from Charlotte, North Carolina, and is majoring in Unmanned Aerial Systems and Commercial Aviation Helicopter. He will be commissioning into the North Carolina National Guard as an AH-64 pilot in December of this year. His advice is to younger aviation cadets is to make sure they are spending time at the airport and actively flying whenever possible!

Last week The Fighting Hawks Battalion conducted their annual Spring Awards Ceremony in order to commemorate their achievements this semester. We are so proud of all our cadets and their accomplishments for the program! Second to none, fly as one! 🦅🇺🇸

Attention School Counselors, Parents, and Future High School Seniors (Class of 2027)
The Army ROTC National High School Scholarship application opens 14 June 2026 — and now is the time for students to start preparing.
This scholarship can provide:
✔ Full tuition or up to $12,000/year room & board
✔ $420/month living stipend
✔ $1,200/year for books
✔ Leadership training while earning a degree
✔ No obligation during freshman year
Students can attend over 1,000 colleges and universities nationwide with Army ROTC — including the University of North Dakota.
🎯 What students should do now:
Ask your guidance counselor for an updated transcript through the end of junior year so your application can be completed early this summer for the best chance of selection.
We are happy to help students every step of the way, even if they are not planning to attend UND. Our goal is to help you find the best path to a debt-free college education and leadership opportunities after graduation.
