To the girl who… hasn’t registered for recruitment yet, take this as your sign ➡️
“Going into my freshman year at UND, I knew I wanted to get involved on campus and meet as many people as I could. Going through recruitment was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’ve made so many lifelong friendships and have been given so many amazing opportunities!
Last year, I took on the role of Vice President of Foundation for Delta Gamma, and since then, I’ve grown so much as a leader and had the opportunity to collaborate with incredible people. I also joined a club called Letters of Love, where I later took on the role of Executive Assistant. I even joined rec hockey with some of my friends, which was so much fun and gave me another great way to meet people and make memories.
Through all of these experiences, I’ve learned so much about myself and grown in ways I never thought I could. I’m so excited for my junior year and for all the new memories I’ll make with my people!
If you’re thinking about going through recruitment, joining a club, playing a sport, or getting involved in any student organization, do it!! You never know the friendships, opportunities, and memories that could come from it!”
“I transferred to UND after spending my freshman year at a southern school, and was honestly a bit worried about meeting new girls in North Dakota. Knowing how nervous I was, my sister talked me into trying recruitment. I was very hesitant about it after already having gone through the process once before, but she convinced me to try it. Looking back on it now I’m so thankful that I gave it another try, because I could not imagine my UND experience without Delta Gamma or all the amazing girls in it. Even though I joined as a sophomore, everyone welcomed me with open arms and made me feel right at home. I’ve met amazing older girls who have guided me through my transition to North Dakota, countless girls my own age that welcomed me into their home without question, and the incredible younger girls I was able to go through recruitment with. I couldn’t have asked for a better second chance with Greek life, and I owe that all to DG and the incredible women within it!”
