We have exciting news to share !!! πŸ‘‡πŸ»πŸ‘‡πŸ»πŸ‘‡πŸ»

One of our own is working in the Executive Department at the National Athletic Trainers Association headquarters. Emily (Bentow) Buckingham MS, ATC (class of 2014) has been hired as the NATA Athletic Trainer in Residence.

The ATR position interacts with all levels of staff, management, and association leadership. Assisting in research projects and implementation of strategic initiatives. She will also be working with federal and state agencies on regulatory issues. In addition, she will serve as an expert resource on athletic training topics, the profession, and association initiatives!

Her job duties will begin at the NATA convention in Las Vegas. Be sure to say β€œHI” when you see her! (Maybe even give her a coffee!)

Since leaving UND Emily has had the opportunity to work the spectrum: Junior High Sports to Professional Baseball, has been a clinical preceptor for undergrad AT students in San Diego CA, and has worked at two state of the art orthopedic clinics.

She attributes a lot of her success from her hands on-practical education she received at the University of North Dakota. Go HAWKS!

So excited for you and Happy for your new Position!!
