The Student Aviation Advisory Council was created in 1974 with the purpose of using student feedback to address concerns and implement new ideas in the UND Aviation Department while helping to communicate the aviation administration's views to students.

Become a SAAC Collegiate Mentor! ✈️

Ready to make a difference? Applications for the SAAC Collegiate Mentorship Program are now open! As a mentor, you’ll have the opportunity to welcome incoming JDOSAS students, share your experiences, answer questions, and help make their transition to UND a little easier.

Being a mentor is a great way to give back, build your leadership skills, strengthen your communication abilities, and make a lasting impact on the next generation of aerospace students. Plus it looks great on a resume!

Who can apply?
✔️ All aerospace majors are welcome
✔️ Minimum of 3 semesters completed in JDOSAS ✔️ Must be in good academic standing

🗓️ Applications close August 11th

On The Fly is officially here! We stopped students, faculty, and staff around UND Aerospace and put them in the hot seat with quick aviation questions and even quicker answers.

The Student Aerospace Advisory Council (SAAC) supports students within the John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences by providing a formal platform to raise concerns and by serving as a communication link between students, faculty, and staff.

Under the guidance of the Dean of Aerospace, SAAC has continually improved the lives of aerospace students since 1974.

Come chat with councilmembers and grab free hot cocoa in the Odegard Hall 1st Fl Rotunda on November 19th from 0900 to 1500! If you’d like, you can also submit your questions to the panel in advance before the Ask Aerospace Forum that evening.
Don’t forget to join us at 1800 for the Forum, we’ll have cookies!
