What do you remember about the museums you visited as a child?

For GFCM Board Member Natalie Muth, some of those memories are still vivid, including an exhibit where she could watch live bees come inside and see how they lived and worked.

Those experiences are part of why she sees so much value in creating a children’s museum here in Grand Forks.

In this week’s Board Member Series, Natalie talks about the importance of giving children opportunities for year-round play, creativity and exploration, with experiences spanning technology, aeronautics and so much more.

Well... THAT changed quickly. 👀

Day 1 of precast wall installation is underway, and suddenly, the Grand Forks Children's Museum is looking a whole lot more like a museum.

One giant crane. Some VERY big walls. And this is only the beginning.
