4 NEW CHAMP DRILLS ARE COMING SOON…

DETAILS CREATE CHAMPIONS.

06/02/2026

Your stunt group doesn’t rise to the level of motivation…
They fall to the level of their training.

This Champ Drill is about more than just reps.
It’s about creating athletes and coaches who understand the WHY behind the movement.

🗓 Wednesday: Drill Breakdown
We slow the skill down and teach the details.

👁 Friday: Coach’s Eye
We lock in on the small corrections that separate average groups from elite groups.

The best stunt groups aren’t just talented…
They’re trained with intention.

Welcome to the Series 👑

You can’t save a stunt properly without strength THROUGH movement. 👀

This drill exposes everything:
✔️ Overhead stability
✔️ Upper-body strength
✔️ Movement under pressure
✔️ Recovery strength when stunts get heavy

The press to 90 with no legs forces the shoulders, chest, triceps, and core to control the weight.

The squat & lock phase?
That’s basically an overhead squat/snatch position in powerlifting. Your group has to move UNDER the stunt while keeping the flyer stacked overhead.

Then the group stands up at extension… and squats AGAIN.

That second squat tells the truth about your stunt group immediately.

Weak groups panic when stunts shift.
Strong groups absorb force and stabilize.
Elite groups save stunts.

Details create champions. 🎯

If your stunt group can’t move UNDER the stunt…
they probably can’t save it either. 👀

This drill builds:
✔️ strength
✔️ timing
✔️ connection
✔️ overhead stability
✔️ CONTROL

Every rep should look intentional — from the press to the squat to the finish back at prep.

Stop rushing the process.
Elite groups control every level of the stunt. 🔥

Save this for your next practice & follow for more Champ Drills. 🏆

Weak stunt groups don’t need more reps.
They need more CONTROL. 👊

The “Elevators” drill teaches:
✔️ Stability under load
✔️ Timing through transitions
✔️ Upper body tension
✔️ Connection between athletes
✔️ Controlled movement from the ground up

Most stunt groups fall apart because athletes move at different tempos.
This drill fixes that.

Control the descent.
Control the tempo.
Control the stunt.

1 more workout to go and it’s show time! This has been a short journey for you and I and I’m going to miss it when you head to college. Working with you has been a blast. I’ve enjoyed every second of it.

You make coaching fun and exciting.

See you later!

Most stunt groups don’t actually need more power.
They need better timing.

The Pop-Tart Drill teaches:
✔️ Connected dips
✔️ Controlled releases
✔️ Quiet catches
✔️ Timing through the entire load-in process

A clean stunt isn’t built from throwing harder.
It’s built from athletes moving TOGETHER.

Small details create:
→ Better float
→ Better control
→ Better catches
→ Cleaner ex*****on

This is one of those “simple drill, endless application” reps that can instantly improve timing issues across your program.

You can do this with flyers in a load position, standing load, feet together prep, and extension for elite groups.

Save this for practice.
Send it to your stunt coaches. 👊

Coach’s Eye - Friday

Most stunt issues don’t start at the top.
They start in the details nobody is coaching.

Watch the timing
Watch the grips
Watch the angle of the leg/foot before the dip

In this Coach’s Eye breakdown:
✔️ 90 degree resistance
✔️ Timing consistency
✔️ Position awareness
✔️ Cleaner stunt mechanics

Elite teams don’t guess.
They train details on purpose.
