I had a wonderful week as a teaching fellow for the Medora Music Academy! We had a full week of classes, rehearsals, performances, and lots of fun in between. I’m so glad I got the opportunity to work with these students and learn from some talented and truly amazing human beings. 🎶

Last night I got to participate in Wildflowers Of Hope 2nd annual family night and it was a blast! I got to do some quick music activities with the kids and got to talk to many wonderful people. I’m so glad I was able to participate!

And they all take practice. We can’t change our mindsets in a day, no matter how much we wish we could. But reflecting on where you’re at and where you’ve come from is important. Being humble and ready to take constructive feedback can make you a stronger, more confident musician.

We have been having so much fun at the pre-k music classes this summer! We’ve been learning about composers, talking about instruments and emotions, playing drums and maracas, dancing, and more!
