🎉 Exciting News! 🎉

We are thrilled to announce that Ms. Stacey Skarperud has been hired as the new principal for Ben Franklin Elementary School!

Ms. Skarperud began her journey in education at Ben Franklin Elementary as a student teacher. Over the past 23 years, she has held various roles within Grand Forks Public Schools, including classroom teacher, literacy specialist, resident teacher mentor, and instructional coach. Her extensive experience and passion for our school are truly inspiring.

Ms. Skarperud is known for her approachability, student-centered approach, and strong communication skills. Her leadership will greatly benefit our school and help us continue to achieve excellence in education.

Please join me in extending a warm welcome to Ms. Stacey Skarperud as the next Ben Franklin Elementary School Principal. 🌟

Highlight of Ben Franklin’s PTO Carnival was when two students won the chance to Pie the Principal!
A GIANT thank you to everyone who came out to the carnival! A few tweaks for next year to make it even better but plan on a good time again in 2025!
