We are thrilled to announce that Ms. Stacey Skarperud has been hired as the new principal for Ben Franklin Elementary School!

Ms. Skarperud began her journey in education at Ben Franklin Elementary as a student teacher. Over the past 23 years, she has held various roles within Grand Forks Public Schools, including classroom teacher, literacy specialist, resident teacher mentor, and instructional coach. Her extensive experience and passion for our school are truly inspiring.

Ms. Skarperud is known for her approachability, student-centered approach, and strong communication skills. Her leadership will greatly benefit our school and help us continue to achieve excellence in education.

Please join me in extending a warm welcome to Ms. Stacey Skarperud as the next Ben Franklin Elementary School Principal. 🌟

There is no school on Monday, January 15, and it will resume Tuesday, January 16.

Last week staff members brought in treats throughout the week! Friday December 22 was a hot chocolate bar! Soooo yummy!
