5 days left in our fundraiser, and we get to show off our new space... finally!!

Our maintenance folks took time out of their extremely busy schedule to mount our TV so Smash players could get some use out of the lab, and things are coming together nicely. We've also got a streaming PC and broadcast setup and some additional lighting on the way, but 312B at Minot High is starting to feel like home.

Truly incredible to think that every piece of this room was purchased through YOUR donations, as well as generous support from the folks at Minot Area Community Foundation and SRT Communications. YOU built this for our students!

Now on to regular season the week of Dec 1!

Alright, gang: fundraiser time, and our goal is a big one: $5,000, with every penny going toward making esports COMPLETELY FREE for all high school students enrolled in Minot Public Schools.

Right now, every participating student pays a $100 fee as part of the registration process. This fee is their "admission" into the Fenworks ND Varsity Esports League, an organization doing AMAZING things for esports and drone racing in our state. However, $100 is the deal-breaker for some students who want to participate. We've been able to cover these costs for some students in the past thanks to past fundraising efforts, and gracious organizations like SRT and the Minot Area Community Foundation have allowed us to add in some sweet extras like jerseys, an esports lab, and team meals at the state tournament, but we'd like to do more.

This year's fundraising goal is meant to set us up for a few years to come and cover league fees for every student who wants to play. In addition, funds will be used to upgrade equipment, sponsor team building activities, and provide prizes for things like our yearly Smash Bros. tournament at the end of the season.

Each donor gets a special shoutout on our team's website, plus we're always looking for new ways to celebrate the people who keep this thing running year over year. If you have any ideas or other ways you'd like to contribute, send us a message!

Minot United Esports has a new name, new look, and new lab! Thanks to donations and fundraisers over the years, we have five gaming PC’s for our varsity teams to play together IRL. The last piece needed is to replace this old SmartBoard with a TV for our Nintendo Switch titles.

BIG weekend for Minot Esports last week. Our Valorant and Smash Ultimate teams took FIRST PLACE in the Bismarck State College Esports Winter Brawl HS Invitational tournament. League of Legends took 2nd and Rocket League took 3rd. Great weekend at a great facility with great folks? GREAT!!
