Our Gingerbread House Preschool family lost someone who meant so much to so many❤️
For over 35 years, Amy poured her heart into Gingerbread House Preschool. She didn’t just own a preschool—she created a place where children felt safe, loved, and valued. She welcomed generations of families through these doors, and her kindness, patience, and genuine love for every child left a lasting mark on our community. She was the best at creating good little humans.
My own boys were blessed to be part of Amy’s preschool family, and when I had the opportunity to continue the legacy she built, it was one of the greatest honors of my life. We are incredibly fortunate to have families today who once sat in Amy’s classroom and are now bringing their own children to Gingerbread House. That speaks volumes about the love and foundation she created.
Amy loved Gingerbread House Preschool with all her heart. She loved the families , but above all, she loved the children. She had a remarkable gift for making every child feel special, seen, and deeply cared for. She was one of the most loving, compassionate, and genuine people I have ever known.
Her legacy will live on in the laughter that fills GBH, in the countless lives she touched, and in every child who walks through our doors. We will continue to honor her by carrying forward the love, kindness, and sense of family that she made the heart of Gingerbread House Preschool.
Please keep Amy’s family and all who loved her in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Thank you, Amy, for the beautiful legacy you created. You will never be forgotten. ❤️ I LOVE YOU
