Granbury ISD Fine Arts

We have updated showtimes for SISTER ACT in response to the weather keeping us at home for so long.

We are trying our best to keep the schedule as close to the original as possible, but we also want to have enough days at school to be able to rehearse in order to put on the best show possible.

As of today, we have decided to cancel the Friday show and have added a Sunday night show. Any tickets previously purchased online for the Friday performance will be honored at any other showing.
We will continue to monitor the situation based on school cancellation and will update as needed.

No changes to schedule are made lightly and we appreciate your understanding of the situation, and, we encourage you to come out and support our cast and crew as they put on a great production in spite of the missed rehearsal time due to the weather!

CONGRATULATIONS to Braelyn Desormeaux on being selected as an All-State musician!! We are so proud of you!

These students represent the top 1% of students in the state on their instrument. Their preparation begins in late July, and auditions begin in December. Students selected for an All-State ensemble needed to advance through a region and area round competing against the best musicians in our area. All-State musicians will perform at the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) convention in San Antonio this February.

We are so happy for you, and this is extremely well-deserved. Congratulations! 🎶💛🎵💜🎶

We are so proud of these Pirate Band students!! HUGE congratulations to all of our region band and area qualifiers, as well as every student who competed today. Go team Granbury! 💜🏴‍☠️🎶

This picture captured so much! In it you notice Mr Long’s arm pointing to his students giving them accolades for the choreography of the musical Annie Jr. , the three young ladies in the middle who were surprised and honored by his shout out, and lastly all the other students smiling and clapping in the background for each other! What you don’t see is Mr Long working behind the scenes to empower his students to completely bring together an amazing production from stage crew to cast and everything between! Thank you Mr Long for teaching our students all the details plus empowering them to be responsible and pull together as a team! Annie Jr is a must see!
