💜 Calling on Our Local Business Community! 💛

At Fluent Figures Tutoring Co., we value educational choice and recognize that families choose homeschooling for many different reasons. Even with the best planning, though, academic struggles can sometimes arise unexpectedly—and a little additional support can make a big difference in helping a family continue their homeschool journey successfully.

While Fluent Figures calls Granbury home, the families we serve come from throughout the surrounding area—including Tolar, Cleburne, Glen Rose, Bluff Dale, Stephenville, Godley, and Joshua. Our scholarship fund gives us the opportunity to support homeschool students and families throughout this greater community.

Right now, we have several scholarship applicants waiting for assistance, and our scholarship fund is running low.

We’re looking for local businesses that share our commitment to education, families, and our community to become Fluent Figures Community Scholarship Partners.

Businesses can partner with us by making a contribution of any amount to our scholarship fund or by choosing to sponsor a scholarship student directly. As a thank-you, our Community Scholarship Partners will be recognized on our website and social media as businesses investing in local homeschool students and families. 💜

Want to support the scholarship fund in another way?

Individuals and businesses can also:
• Make a donation of any amount
• Purchase a Fluent Figures T-shirt or sweatshirt — 100% of the profits support our scholarship fund
• Shop our in-office Wild Roots Apothecary skincare products — 50% of the proceeds Fluent Figures receives goes toward the scholarship fund

Our goal is simple: when an unexpected academic challenge arises, we want homeschool families in our community to have somewhere to turn for the additional instruction and support their student needs.

If your business is interested in becoming a Community Scholarship Partner, sponsoring a student, contributing to the fund, or simply learning more, send us a message! You can also learn more about the program on our website: https://fluentfigurestutoring.com/about-the-program

A few new after-school tutoring spots are opening up!

With our SAT Boot Camp wrapping up, we’ll have some additional availability for high school private tutoring during the week. (Can also schedule earlier in the day for homeschooling families)

Whether your student needs help keeping up with a challenging class, wants to strengthen specific skills, or is preparing for an upcoming SAT, ACT, TSI, or other exam, we can tailor their tutoring time to what they actually need.

And if the SAT Boot Camp didn’t work with your student’s schedule or testing timeline, private test prep is still an option!

Spots are limited and scheduled as standing weekly appointments. Send us a message or call 682-205-1342 to check current availability!

Are you a teacher looking to earn some extra income while actually enjoying the teaching part? Fluent Figures is looking to add a licensed teacher to our team! Our private tutoring is low-prep, flexible, and gives you the freedom to meet students where they are—no canned curriculum or one-size-fits-all lessons. While some sessions include homework help, much of our time is spent building foundational math and ELA skills through games, activities, and meaningful one-on-one instruction. Private tutoring sessions are currently offered Monday–Friday at 4, 5, and 6 p.m., with potential weekend opportunities as well. You choose the days and times that work for your schedule. We offer good pay and are looking for someone who is not only a great teacher, but genuinely enjoys connecting, laughing, playing, and learning with kids. We are especially looking to hire someone with strong elementary ELA and foundational reading skills right away!

Did you know that college applications begin opening as early as the summer and early fall of senior year?

By November, many colleges are already reaching Early Action deadlines, with Regular Decision deadlines and FAFSA submission following in December and January.

For seniors who haven't tested yet or are still working toward the score they want, there's no better time than now to prepare for an upcoming fall test date.

For juniors, starting the SAT/ACT process now gives you time to find out where you stand, strengthen areas that need work, and retest if needed—with the goal of having your scores where you want them before senior-year applications begin.

Register now for our SAT & ACT Boot Camp to strengthen content knowledge, become familiar with test-style questions, and learn additional strategies that can help you make the most of your performance on test day.
