We’re looking for a reliable, experienced Toddler Teacher to join our team! 💛

👶 TODDLER CLASSROOM

18 MONTHS–24 MONTHS
• 9–12 toddlers daily
• Work independently or with another teacher based on classroom ratios
• Busy, active classroom environment

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be able to pass a background check
• 1–2+ years of toddler classroom experience
• Reliable, dependable, and consistent
• Able to provide structure and maintain a predictable routine
• Comfortable handling toddler behaviors with understanding, patience & compassion
• Uses positive redirection and age-appropriate guidance
• Able to maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Able to follow Texas Rising Star and Kid City USA center standards
• Works well independently and as part of a team

🌱🪣 Learning Can Get MESSY! 💛

Today our little explorers turned mud, water, dirt and a few simple tools into a whole world of imagination! They were scooping, pouring, mixing, creating and working together—and having SO much fun doing it. 😍

Messy play isn't just about getting dirty. It's a chance to build sensory awareness, fine motor skills, problem-solving, creativity, communication and independence through hands-on exploration.

Sometimes the best classroom doesn't have four walls. Sometimes it looks like muddy hands, dirty clothes and BIG smiles! 🐝💛

Let them get messy. Let them explore. Let them PLAY! 🌱

🐝 Meet Our Wobblers! 👣💛

The little ones who are almost toddlers… and BUSY! 😂

Does anyone know just how busy a wobbler can be?! 👀

Our Wobbler Class is designed for children 12 months through 17 months, creating that important bridge between our Infant Class and our Toddler Class.

This is such an exciting stage! Our little wobblers are becoming more independent every day.

Just like our infant room, we keep our classroom small

A smaller group allows our teacher more opportunities to provide individualized attention, encourage new skills, talk with each child, support communication, and help each child safely develop toward those toddler milestones.

💡 Fun Wobbler Facts!

👣 They're on the move! Wobbling, cruising, climbing and walking help develop balance, coordination and strength.

🗣️ Their communication is growing quickly! Sounds, gestures, pointing, facial expressions and those first words are all part of learning to communicate.

🧠 Everything is an experiment! Dumping, stacking, pushing, pulling, banging and exploring help children discover cause and effect.

❤️ Independence is emerging! “ME DO IT!” starts becoming a very real part of their personality. 😂

👀 They are curious little explorers. Their increasing mobility means they need close supervision and responsive teachers who can keep up with them.

😂 And yes… they are FAST! One minute they're beside you, and the next they're halfway across the room!

💛 Why low ratios matter

At 5 children to 1 teacher, our Wobblers have more opportunities for meaningful interactions throughout the day. Instead of simply keeping up with a busy group, our teacher can spend time talking, encouraging, comforting, playing and teaching.

Because the Wobbler stage isn't just a waiting room between infants and toddlers. It's a BIG developmental stage all its own! 🥰

We're proud to give these little ones the time, attention and encouragement they need as they take those exciting steps toward toddlerhood. 👣🐝💛

🌾🐄 WELCOME TO THE FARM! 🐔🌻

October is going to be full of farm-tastic fun at Kid City USA Granbury! 🚜🍎

This next month, our classrooms are heading down to the farm to learn all about farm life, farm animals, crops, gardens, and the important work farmers do every day. We’ll discover how farms help provide the food we eat, where our food comes from, and how it makes its way from the farm to our table! 🥕🥚🥛
And of course, our little farmers will be learning through hands-on activities, imagination, exploration, stories, and plenty of fun! 👩‍🌾🐷🌽

🐝 Our Kid City Characteristic this month is: BEE PATIENT!

Just like a seed takes time to grow, we’re learning that good things take time. We’ll practice waiting our turn, using kind words, taking our time, and showing patience with our friends. 💛

🏕️🏰 PRE-K FORT BUILDING DAY! 🏰🏕️
All we needed was some big sheets, a little space outside, and LOTS of imagination! 😍
Our Pre-K friends had been begging Mrs. Kristin for a Fort Building Day, and she just couldn't say no! 😂❤️ So, we took the fun outside and created a giant fort where our kiddos could crawl, explore, pretend, and let their imaginations run wild!
Sometimes the best activities are the simplest ones! A few sheets turned into a whole new world of adventure, creativity, teamwork, and pretend play. 🧠✨
And those big smiles say it all… Fort Building Day was a SUCCESS! 🥰🏕️
