Please welcome Mr. Cole Follett to the Pride of Granbury!

Prior to joining the staff at Granbury High School, Mr. Follett served as an interim Assistant Band Director at several schools in the Fort Worth Independent School District in Spring of 2026.

A graduate from Texas Christian University, Mr. Follett studied trumpet under Dr. Jon Burgess and performed in the Wind Symphony under the direction of Mr. Bobby Francis. He was also a member of the TCU Horned Frog Marching Band where he served as Drum Major, as well as the TCU Trumpet Ensemble. Mr. Follett completed his student teaching at L. D. Bell High School and Central Junior High School in Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD.

We are so excited to have Mr. Follett join us at GHS!

Congratulations to Braelyn Desormeaux on her performance with the Fort Worth City Band! She won 2nd place in their solo contest earlier this semester and was honored last night at their end of season concert! Braelyn is a graduating senior and we can’t wait to see what awesome things she does as a music performance major at the University of North Texas!!
