Leadership in action! We are blessed with the best at Mambrino. Mrs. Shipp and Mrs. Whisenhunt were some of the first guest speakers at GISD’s “Foundations of School Leadership” Academy on Monday evening.

They shared their knowledge, experiences and lessons learned thus far in their leadership journeys with aspiring future school leaders in our district! 🌟💜

🏐 Serving up some fun at PE 🏐

Our students are having a blast learning the fundamentals of volleyball! Using beach balls, they’re practicing basic skills like passing, setting, serving, and teamwork in a fun way. We love seeing our students build confidence, try new skills, and encourage one another along the way! 💜💛

Shoutout to our PE Coaches, Coach Zschiesche and Coach Pruit for creating fun opportunities for students to move, learn and grow!

🎀✨lt’s Dolly Day! ✨🎀

Our students and staff brought a little Dolly Parton magic to Mambrino with their best looks for a day full of big hair, big personalities, and even bigger smiles!

We were working hard from 9 to 5, what a way to make a livin’! 😉💗👢🎶

In the words of Dolly: “If you see someone without a smile, give em’ yours!”

🧥🥤🧢 LOST & FOUND: The Final Call! 👀

Our Lost & Found has been working overtime these past six weeks… and some of these items have officially been here long enough to start paying rent. 😂

📸 Take a look through the pictures—do you recognize something that belongs to your kiddo?

Parents, this is your sign to check! ⏰ At the end of each six weeks, all unclaimed items will be donated so our Lost & Found doesn’t take over the school for the rest of the year!

If you see something familiar, please have your student stop by the Lost & Found and bring it home. 🏠💜💛

💜💛 Last week at Mambrino was full of learning, fun, and connection! 🍎✨

An Apple a day makes the JOY stay! From our kindergarteners hunting for letters 🔎 to Apple Day rotations in each classroom 🍏, there was plenty happening around campus!

We also celebrated our Empathy Bracelet winners—a peer-voted Capturing Kids’ Hearts award recognizing students who show empathy and kindness. 🫶 Only some of our winners are pictured, but every one of them deserves a big shoutout!

3rd grade has their own character trait house system and had their first house meeting Friday complete with minute to win it games!

…📸 Stay tuned for pictures from Grandparents Day/Week lunches! 💛
