Rainbows Promise Childcare

This past week was Teacher Appreciation week. We spent the week loving on our staff. They pour their hearts into these kiddos every day. Many children spend more waking hours with us then they do at home. Thanks again to our girls for showing up and being their best every day.

Rainbow will open at our normal time tomorrow. We will still have a few slick spots in the parking lot in the morning so please take it slow coming and going. We will NOT be transporting to Mambrino tomorrow morning but will be picking up as usual.

Rainbow will remained closed Wednesday. Everyone stay safe and warm.

❄️ Weather Update ❄️

Due to continued hazardous road conditions across the district, 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐲 𝐈𝐒𝐃 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟖. At this time, many roadways are still difficult to navigate and are not yet safe for bus routes or family travel.

All before- and after-school activities scheduled for Wednesday are canceled or will be rescheduled.

District officials will continue to closely monitor weather and roadway conditions throughout the day on Wednesday. Additional information regarding Thursday’s schedule will be shared as soon as it becomes available.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to our maintenance department for braving the freezing temperatures each day to monitor our campuses and work to clear pathways for everyone’s safety. Your dedication and work ethic are truly appreciated and do not go unnoticed.

Due to temperatures not expected to rise above freezing until Tuesday afternoon, 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐲 𝐈𝐒𝐃 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟕. In addition, all before- and after-school activities scheduled for Tuesday have been canceled or will be rescheduled.

We will continue to monitor conditions closely. If further delays or cancellations are necessary into Wednesday, families will be notified as soon as possible. Stay tuned for additional information.

Well kiddos…it looks like another day of sledding is in order. GISD has made the decision to close tomorrow. We haven’t been able to make it to Rainbow to make sure we have water. Assuming we do(we are trying to find someone to check this out today) we will be business as usual Wednesday.
