Alumni Update:

Yesterday, we were proud to welcome back our former Battalion Commanding Officer, now Private First Class Doss, United States Marine Corps!

PFC Doss shared her experiences with our cadets and spoke about her journey from Granbury MCJROTC to earning the title of United States Marine. She will soon report to Marine Combat Training before continuing to her military occupational specialty school for intelligence.

It was outstanding to have one of our own return and inspire the next generation of cadets. We are incredibly proud of you, Marine! Continue making Granbury proud, PFC Doss!

✈️🇺🇸 Pecan Plantation Fly-In & Car Show 🇺🇸🚘

Our Granbury High School MCJROTC cadets were proud to support today’s Pecan Plantation Fly-In & Car Show. Cadets assisted event organizers, welcomed visitors, helped with parking and other activities, and demonstrated outstanding teamwork and professionalism throughout the day.

Our Color Guard had the honor of presenting the colors during the opening ceremony, followed by an impressive flyover that made the occasion even more memorable.

Thank you to the Pecan Plantation community for allowing our cadets to be part of this outstanding event. We are extremely proud of how they represented Granbury High School, MCJROTC, and our community!

Service. Leadership. Citizenship.

The road to Nationals begins……

🎯 THE MATCH IS WON WHEN NO ONE IS WATCHING.

Championship performances are built during the early mornings, the long holds, the disciplined resets, and the countless repetitions that never appear on a scoreboard.

By the time the first record shot is fired, the work has already been done.

Leadership grows through meaningful conversations with those who have lived it.

Five Granbury MCJROTC cadets recently attended the monthly Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) dinner. The evening gave them a valuable opportunity to connect with active-duty and retired military officers, hear firsthand lessons about leadership and service, and receive mentorship from those who have served our nation.

We sincerely appreciate the MOAA members for welcoming our cadets, sharing their experiences, and investing in the next generation of leaders. Opportunities like this extend learning beyond the classroom and show our cadets what integrity, commitment, and selfless service look like in action.
