To our infant's parents:

Thanks for allowing us to watch them grow, thrive, and learn to navigate life. It truly brings us joy to be a part of their journey.

Summer Time is HERE...so lets talk about - Heat Stroke Prevention
As parents, we all say “that could never happen to me.” But accidents don’t happen because someone is a bad parent — they happen because life gets busy, routines change, and distractions happen in seconds. ❤️

A child left in a hot car can happen faster than most people realize. This is your reminder to always:

🛑 STOP
👀 LOOK
🔒 LOCK

Before walking away from your vehicle, always check the back seat and lock your doors so little ones cannot get inside unnoticed.

One small habit could save a life. Please help spread awareness and protect our babies this summer. ☀️🚗💔

DID YOU KNOW?!

In the state of Louisiana, Early Childhood Educators are often placed on the same occupational scale as dog walkers and pet caretakers — despite the enormous responsibility we carry every single day.

Our teachers are:
• CPR certified
• Mandated reporters
• Trusted with the safety and development of children during the most important years of brain growth
• Required to continue their education beyond high school to obtain credentials such as a CDA
• Observed and evaluated by the Department of Education just like elementary school teachers

We are not “babysitters.”
We are educators.
We are protectors.
We are nurturers.
We are the foundation of the current workforce AND the future workforce.

Without Early Childhood Education, parents cannot work, businesses cannot operate, and children lose critical opportunities during the most important developmental years of their lives.

We demand that the state see us, value us, and treat us better — because our profession is worth far more than being compared to a dog walker.

Early Childhood Educators deserve respect.
Early Childhood Educators deserve support.
Early Childhood Educators deserve better.
