🐊 GATOR PASS FAQs 💚💛

Is it too late to purchase a Gator Pass?

💚 Yes. Gator Pass sales are now closed for the fall semester.

What do we do with the Gator Pass?

💚 Each Gator Pass has its holder’s (our little Gator 🐊) name on it. Please place the pass in the front of your child’s folder so it is easily accessible and visible to teachers and administration when verifying Free Dress Friday participation.

Is the Gator Pass good for the entire school year?

💚 No. The current Gator Pass is valid for the fall semester only. Gator Passes for the spring semester will be offered when the new semester begins.

If my child misses school on a Friday or chooses not to dress down, will we receive a partial refund?

💚 No. All Gator Pass purchases are non-refundable. Missed Free Dress Fridays cannot be refunded or transferred.

What happens if my child loses their Gator Pass?

💚 If a Gator Pass is lost, please contact PTO. A replacement pass can be printed for a small reprint fee.

Are Gator Passes also used for students paying $2 each Friday?

💚 No. Gator Passes are only for students whose families purchased the discounted semester pass.

Students who did not purchase a Gator Pass can still participate in Free Dress Friday for $2 per Friday. Payment must be PREPAID and submitted to PTO by Tuesday of each week. Students who prepay will receive a wristband for that Friday’s Free Dress Day.

Good Afternoon Gator Families!

All Gator Pass Funds have been collected. There will not be another collection day for Gator Passes for this semester. From this point, students who didn’t purchase the Gator Pass will have to pay $2 to dress down on Friday.

Funds are due for dress down are due No Later than Tuesday of each week so that we have time to get the list of students to the school. Thank you for your support and understanding.

Just a friendly reminder regarding PTO communication.

If you have questions about PTO-related events or activities, please feel free to contact the PTO President or any current member of the PTO Board. We’re always happy to assist!

We simply ask that phone calls and text messages be made during reasonable daytime/evening hours. Messages received outside of those hours will be responded to as soon as possible during the day. We appreciate your understanding and consideration of our board members’ personal and family time.

🐊 PTO Meeting Coming Soon!

Our first PTO meeting of the school year is coming up! This meeting is for our current PTO members, those who have recently joined, and parents/guardians who have expressed interest in becoming a part of the PTO.

Reminder: PTO dues are due Tuesday, August 25th.

We’re looking forward to a great year of working together, supporting our students, and making this school year a great one for our Gator community!

TOMORROW, Monday, August 24th, is the FINAL DAY to purchase a Gator Pass for Free Dress Fridays! 👕👖✨

The Gator Pass allows your student to participate in Free Dress Friday each week without having to send payment every Tuesday.

After August 24th, Gator Pass purchases will be closed. Students who would like to participate in Free Dress Friday will need to pay $2 each Friday, with payment submitted to PTO by Tuesday of that week.

📌 Gator Pass Deadline: Monday, August 24th
💵 After the deadline: $2 per Friday
📅 Weekly payment due: Tuesday of each week

From a Student’s Idea to State Law!

Paisley is being honored Monday, August 24th for her support in the Louisiana House Bill 782. Representative Ken Brass wrote a bill based on Paisley’s proposal. Paisley was able to support the process with her testimony in front of the House of Representatives Judiciary Committee. The bill passed both House and Senate Chambers and now is an official Law of Louisiana.

What an incredible example of the power of a student’s voice! Thank you Paisley for showing our students that ideas matter, voices can make a difference, and everyone has the power to help shape the future of our communities.

Today, you should have received a flyer regarding the Gator Pass for Free Dress Fridays!

The flyer indicates that the deadline to submit payments is Friday, August 21st. Due to the short notice, we are extending the deadline to Monday August 24th to give everyone a little extra time.

💚 Gator Pass Pricing:

$20 per child for Free Dress Fridays beginning Aug.28th.

Families with multiple children in the household pay $20 for the first child and $10 each additional child. (Ex: 2 Child household pays $30)

💛 Payment Information:

Please send exact cash in a labeled envelope that includes your child’s name and homeroom teacher’s name. Checks are accepted and should be made payable to GES PTO.
