🌱 HANDS-ON LEARNING IS GROWING AT LINCOLN PREP!

This week, our Panthers took science beyond the classroom and into the Lincoln Prep School Garden!

Students in Coach Davison’s and Ms. Wayne’s Ag Science classes and Ms. Jones’ Earth Science class kicked off the growing season by planting Georgia collard seeds in seed-starting trays.

When the newly planted seeds needed additional shade, Ms. Jones and our students put their problem-solving skills to work. Students attached black mulching fabric to the picnic tables, creating an improvised shaded area to help protect the seed trays.

Hands-on, collaborative, and connected to the real world. Our students aren’t just learning about agriculture and Earth science—they’re applying what they learn, solving problems, and watching their work come to life. 🌱

Thanks to Master Gardener Dexter Sapp for his support. We’re excited to follow their progress from seed to harvest! 💚💛

What an amazing first day of school! 💚🖤🐾

Thank you, Team Lincoln Prep, for showing up and making Day 1 a great one! We started our morning with a powerful prayer from Pastor Don Calloway and were blessed to have the GSU Women’s Basketball Team there to welcome and support our students.

Like any first day, we had a few bumps, but everyone jumped in, worked together, and kept things moving as smooth as butter! 😂

A special thank you to Origin Bank for bringing some much-needed treats!

And I have to say…the men may have out-dressed us ladies today! 😮😂 I’ll give them Day 1!

There are still a few kinks to work out, but I’m truly pleased with our first day and even more thankful for our team.

Great job, Lincoln Prep! Get some rest, and we’ll see you tomorrow! 💚🖤

🎉 IT’S THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! 🎉

Good morning, Lincoln Prep families! 💚🖤🐾

The halls are ready, our teachers are ready, and most importantly, we’re ready for our Panthers! Today marks the start of a brand-new school year, and we’re excited about everything ahead.

As we kick off Day 1, we also want to introduce another round of new teachers and residents joining the Lincoln Prep family! We’re excited to have them on the team and can’t wait for our students and families to get to know them.

Here’s to new beginnings, new memories, and a GREAT year at Lincoln Prep!

Applications are officially open for two exciting student leadership opportunities for Fall 2026.

Middle School SGA | Grades 5 through 8
Students interested in helping shape the future of Lincoln Prep are encouraged to apply for Student Government Association. Applications are due Friday, August 14, 2026 by 3:30 PM and must be submitted to Mr. Jones in Room B35.

Royal Court | Grades 9 through 12
Students ready to represent Lincoln Prep with scholarship, grace, service, and leadership are encouraged to submit their Royal Court materials. Forms are due Friday, August 14, 2026 by 3:30 PM to Ms. Moore in Room E10.

Do not wait until the last minute. This is your opportunity to represent your classmates, serve your school, build your leadership, and become part of Lincoln Prep history.
