This program helps provide weekend meals to students who may otherwise go without—helping ensure that our kids have the food they need to come back to school ready to learn each week.

Bright Futures is looking for 8 hay bales to help us bring our parade float to life for the September 12, 2026 parade!

We’re hoping to pick them up the week of September 7 and would be happy to return them after the parade.

Where it all began…. Thank you, Dr. Welle!

Today we're celebrating an incredible leader and champion for students as Brad Welle retires as Superintendent of Grain Valley Schools.

Brad was instrumental in bringing Bright Futures Grain Valley to life in 2014, and for more than a decade, he has been a passionate advocate for ensuring every student has the support they need to succeed. His belief in the power of communities coming together to meet students' basic needs has made a lasting impact on countless lives.

Thank you, Brad, for your vision, leadership, and unwavering commitment to Bright Futures. Your legacy will continue to inspire communities for years to come.

Congratulations on your retirement, and thank you for making a difference! 🧡
