Last week, the PTA sent the 5th graders on an elementary farewell field trip to Lunar Bowl. 🎳 They got to enjoy pizza, cosmic bowling and make some fun memories with their classmates.

Next stop…Middle School! Good luck, almost 6th graders! We know you will rock it! 🎉🎉🎉

Even though the weather didn’t cooperate, we all made the best of Fun in the Sun today! The PTA was excited to provide the foam machine, dunk tank and ice cream treats in addition to the other fun activities the school planned. What a fun event organized by Coach Purkey each year!

There are still slots open to volunteer for Fun in the Sun Day at Matthews Elementary on Tuesday, May 19th. You will be helping with all the fun stations setup for the students to enjoy.

All volunteers will need to have a current background check on file with the school. If you have questions on this process, please reach out to the school.
