It was something we could do together on nights I got to sleep over at her house. I made a few cool items (a purple poodle bottle cover, loop rug with my name overstitched on it, a scarf...). A few years ago, I picked up the hobby again and I am having a great time making stuff! Mostly for personal gifts, but I now am building an inventory to sell.

When I saw comments saying they don't want homemade junk my jaw dropped. I love making gifts for my friends and family. I mean I guess I can see very few scenarios where you may not want that but what?? if a friend spent a bunch of time embroidering or baking or cooking something that they thought you would like because it reminded them of you, does that not mean something? 11/27/2025
