ACC Graphic Design student Dinasti Brown is competing in the Pin Design competition this week at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Atlanta, GA. Dinasti's design won first place at the state conference in April, qualifying her for the national conference!

The SkillsUSA NC chapter chose to produce Dinasti's design to represent the state. Pin trading at the national conference is very popular, and Dinasti's pin has been very sought after.

Exciting news! Dr. Justin Snyder has been selected as one of 40 emerging leaders nationwide for the Rising Presidents Fellowship with the Aspen Institute College Excellence Program.

Over the next 10 months, Justin will collaborate with innovative peers, learn from national experts, and develop bold strategies to lead colleges that help students succeed. We’re thrilled to support them on this journey!

Lt. Governor Rachel Hunt Visits Alamance Community College as Part of Statewide Future Ready Tour 02/20/2026

Lt. Governor Hunt toured ACC’s Biotechnology Center of Excellence and Advanced Applied Technology Center to see firsthand how our programs are preparing students for high-demand careers in biotechnology, skilled trades, advanced manufacturing, and more. Her visit highlighted the important role community colleges play in workforce readiness, economic mobility, and student success.
